Is the free tier a trial?
No, and it has no expiry. Free catches the addresses that actually bounce: dead domains, disposables, typos and role inboxes. For plenty of lists that is the whole job, and you never pay us anything.
What exactly does Pro add?
One thing, and it is the hard one: we ask each mail server whether that specific mailbox exists, and mark it deliverable or undeliverable. Free tells you the domain can receive mail; Pro tells you the person can.
Can I get mailbox checks without paying?
Yes, if you are happy to run one command. The free helper does the same SMTP check on your own machine. Pro exists for people who would rather it just worked.
What happens to my data?
On Free, nothing is stored at all. On paid plans, only what you explicitly save, and you can delete it at any time. The privacy page spells this out.
